Team/Role Overview The Credit Maintenance Analyst is an entry-level position responsible for capturing and recording data related to credit exposure, obligors, and facilities in relevant credit systems in coordination with the operations - Services team. The overall objective of this role is to maintain data quality in credit systems, monitor credit exposure, and adhere to overall credit policies. This role involves working closely with the operations - Services team and is crucial for maintaining the integrity of Citi's credit systems. What you'll do This individual will primarily focus on maintaining data quality and ensuring compliance with credit policies. On a day-to-day basis, they can expect to: - Process incoming credit requests, reviewing for completeness and accuracy, and converting them to concise, accurately recorded credit facilities. - Analyze and evaluate credit reports, as well as coordinate and follow up on action plans, implementations, and related defects. - Maintain an executive document to track all requests, changes, and action plans performed on credit reports. - Prepare weekly and monthly audit reports and contribute to achieving acceptable audit ratings. - Prepare portfolio and related credit information for internal and external auditors. - Make evaluative judgments based on the analysis of information. - Resolve problems by identifying and selecting solutions through the application of acquired technical experience and guided by precedence. - Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. What we'll need from you We are looking for a candidate who is detail-oriented and possesses strong analytical skills. The essential qualifications and skills required for this role include: - Relevant experience in credit operations or a similar position. - Knowledge of credit processes, procedures, and systems. - Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and Windows domain. - Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment. - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience.
