This Director-level role within Equity Derivatives Sales focuses on cultivating and strengthening relationships with Hedge Fund clients. The successful candidate will be instrumental in originating, structuring, and executing complex equity derivatives solutions, contributing directly to the growth and profitability of Citi's Equities franchise. Primary Responsibilities of the role

Develop and manage strategic relationships with key Hedge Fund clients, understanding their investment objectives and risk profiles.

Originate and execute flow and structured equity derivatives transactions, including options, futures, and equity-linked notes.

Provide market commentary, product ideas, and tailored solutions to clients, leveraging Citi's research and trading capabilities.

Collaborate closely with trading, structuring, research, and legal teams to deliver comprehensive client solutions.

Identify new business opportunities and expand Citi's market share within the Hedge Fund client segment.

Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements and internal compliance policies in all client interactions and transactions.
What we need from you
-
Extensive experience (typically 7+ years) in equity derivatives sales, specifically covering Hedge Fund clients at a tier-one investment bank.

Demonstrated expertise in a broad range of equity derivatives products, including understanding of their pricing, risk characteristics, and suitability for various client strategies.

Proven ability to build and maintain strong client relationships, coupled with a deep understanding of the Hedge Fund landscape.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and formulate actionable trading ideas.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of articulating complex financial concepts clearly and concisely.

Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or a related quantitative field; advanced degree or relevant professional certifications (e.g., CFA) preferred.
