Control Architecture (Design) Individual Contributor

  • This individual contributor role supports Operations by working directly with SME/POC to understand Key Processes (Activity) and determine appropriate control set up to meet Minimum Control Design Requirements (MCDR) in accordance with the Control Standards.
  • Individual will work across Credit, Collections or Recovery (CCR) to ensure proper understanding of process and document new or revised controls.
  • They will work with MCA to document Controls in Citi Risk & Controls System, verifying each attribute to ensure successful Control or Business Risk and meet all requirements for a Control Design Assessment (CDA). Understanding of Automation type & can work with Automated, Semi-Automated and Manual Controls
  • Understanding of GPMP and Risk Taxonomies
  • Proper design and overall set up
  • Individual should also have a firm understanding of US and Canada regulatory obligations and policy guidelines that are tied to Key Controls within Operations
  • Individual will work with Legal, Risk, ICRM and other key 2nd and 3rd Line partners to ensure accurate Control design
  • Individuals will be responsible for building controls related to projects or Issues (CAPs) and will need to work independently within the project team or Issue timeline & ensure no delays in meeting target dates
  • Team should have an “ownership” mindset to know when to escalate concerns in work or timelines to Issue Management
  • This teams book of work varies based on the number of projects / Issues within the businesses.
  • Preferred Key skill set:Understanding of current MCA environment
  • Strong written and communication skills with senior leadership; Individuals will be working with key business leaders within CCR
  • Familiarity with BRD creation for semi-automated Controls (Control exception reporting)SHIFT: Night Shift /NAM Shifts
