We are seeking a digitally fluent, strategically minded leader to serve as Global Head of Digital Strategy & Execution for Citi Wealth. This individual will define and lead the future of how Citi Wealth shows up across all digital channels — from .com to advisor platforms, social media to email automation — ensuring a seamless, impactful, and differentiated digital experience for both clients and advisors across the full wealth continuum.

As Citi builds new digital platforms for both clients and advisors, this role will embed digital marketing strategy from the ground up — integrating performance marketing, martech, content, analytics, UX, and global execution. This leader will ensure all touchpoints reflect a consistent brand voice, drive measurable engagement, and are governed with operational rigor. They will also play a critical role in shaping the digital infrastructure, processes, and capabilities required for scalable execution across regions and segments.

This is a high-impact, high-visibility role that requires both strategic vision and hands-on leadership. The ideal candidate brings a unique blend of digital thought leadership, marketing operations savvy, and the ability to unify global teams under a common digital roadmap. Success in this role will cement digital as a core engine of client growth, brand building, and advisor enablement across Citi Wealth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and lead Citi Wealth’s global digital marketing strategy, spanning client and advisor-facing platforms across the full wealth continuum (Citigold, CPC, Citi Private Bank, and Wealth at Work).
  • Define and operationalize a global digital roadmap across .com, intranet, social, email, content management, and advisor platforms.
  • Build digital governance models to ensure brand consistency, regulatory compliance, and strategic alignment across business units and markets.
  • Oversee the implementation and optimization of digital marketing platforms and tools — including CMS, marketing automation, personalization, and analytics.
  • Partner with product, design, and engineering teams to improve UX and UI across digital journeys — ensuring our platforms reflect our brand and client promise.
  • Lead digital performance measurement and reporting frameworks to track KPIs, optimize campaigns, and inform executive decision-making.
  • Drive the integration of digital marketing into global campaign planning and execution — ensuring cross-channel alignment and activation.
  • Serve as a thought partner to regional marketing leads, helping elevate digital maturity and capability across the global organization.
  • Build and manage a small team of digital specialists; oversee agency partners and digital vendors as needed.
  • Represent digital marketing at the highest levels — including senior leadership, compliance, risk, and product partners.
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience
  • Experience leading digital marketing strategy, execution, and operations within a large, global, matrixed organization — ideally in financial services or a digitally advanced industry.
  • Experience developing and executing marketing strategies
  • Proven track record of leading complex digital transformation projects and embedding digital within enterprise marketing functions.
  • Experience managing multi-platform ecosystems (.com, intranet, social, email, CMS, martech).
  • Strong understanding of UX/UI, content strategy, personalization, and web performance metrics.
  • Hands-on experience with enterprise marketing platforms and tools (e.g., Adobe, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Google Analytics).
  • Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders, drive cross-functional alignment, and lead through ambiguity.

Education:

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred

Key Competencies:

  • Digitally fluent with strategic vision and operational precision.
  • Confident leader who can drive transformation and bring teams along the journey.
  • Excellent communicator and cross-functional collaborator.
  • Performance-driven and highly analytical.
  • Comfortable working across time zones, cultures, and hierarchies.
  • Curious, future-focused, and constantly scanning for innovation.
