Team/Role Overview

Citi are undergoing a transformation of the Loans Business globally, part of which is our move onto the LoanIQ platform. With the EMEA phase going live, we are looking to build out the Loan Operations Projects team to work predominately in the LoanIQ space.

The role applies in-depth knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the new platform. They will also show an understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the new platform, as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required.

The successful applicant will regularly assume informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of junior team members.

What you'll do:

• Develops detailed UAT work plans, schedules; resource plans and status reports.
• Liaises with project staff and senior management teams regarding status of projects.
• Recommends and oversees process improvements.
• Has considerable business impact through the evaluation of business processes, system processes and industry standards.
• Possesses a strong understanding of how own area and others (i.e., architecture or infrastructure) integrate to contribute towards achieving business objectives.
• Directly impacts the business by influencing functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.
• Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.
• Provides in-depth analysis to define problems and work along with partners to develop innovative solutions.
• Persuades and influences others through and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills.
• Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behaviour, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

What we'll need rom you:

• Loans experience
• Strong knowledge of syndicated and bilateral loans, including an understanding of legal documentation, funding mechanics, deal structure and funding requirements
• Can work well under pressure and multi-task with a sense of urgency
• Ability to make evaluative judgements based on analysis of facts and data
