  • The Ops Sup Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for providing operations support services, including but not limited to; record/documentation maintenance, storage & retrieval of records, account maintenance, imaging and the opening of accounts in coordination with the late-night
  • Core Team. The overall objective of this role is to provide day-to-day operations support in alignment with Citi operations support.

Responsibilities:

  • This role is an individual contributor which involves supporting and mentoring a small Operation Support team through delegating daily tasks and responsibilities as well as recommending new work procedures to help streamline operations

  • Be a subject matter expert in the process & conduct training, monitor quality and quantity of team work

  • Analyze operations information and make evaluative judgements to solve problems

  • Responsible for identifying and resolving routine problems and operational issues with broader departmental impact within established procedures

  • Facilitate training based on needs of staff within the department and assist with answering staff questions as needed

  • Identify hiring needs to ensure adequate staffing

  • Serve as a backup for manager, as needed

  • Assist with ongoing Lean and process improvement projects

  • Resolve complex problems based on best practice/precedence, escalating as needed

  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in banking Operations & knowledge of banking products

  • Working knowledge of financial industry preferred

  • Proactive leadership and motivational skills

  • Proven organization and time management skills

  • Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills

  • Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience

This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed. Other job-related duties may be assigned as required.

Shift Timing:Candidate should be willing to work in 247 shifts including late night shift start timings

Should be flexible for any shift timing (rotation shifts, permanent night shifts and late night shifts)

Weekend working may be BAU as per business requirement
