Team/Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Funds Services Product Lead Analyst to join our Global Fund Services team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the strategic direction, development, and lifecycle management of our Fund Services product suite. This includes leading the Fund Services global technology investment processes and act as the central point of contact for Services and Investor Services strategic initiatives that span across the Fund Services product suite.

This role requires a deep understanding of the funds industry, including various fund structures, regulatory environments, and market trends. The Product Manager will collaborate closely with technology, operations, sales, and client service teams to deliver innovative and competitive solutions that meet client needs and drive business growth.

What you’ll do

• Strategic Planning & Execution: Continuously define and refine the product strategy and roadmap for funds services, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and evolving market demands.
• Product Lifecycle Management:
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, from gathering initial ideas and defining requirements to design, development oversight, launch, and ongoing performance monitoring.
  • Translate business needs into product requirements for development teams.
  • Manage and prioritize the product backlog based on assessed business value, client impact, and strategic alignment.

• Investment Planning:
  • Lead the annual technology investment process for Fund Services, partnering with Product, Operations and Technology stakeholders to champion a capability-oriented, efficient and clearly defined approach
  • Track ROI through structured governance forums, regular reviews with businesses, and effective metrics
  • Ensure that business stakeholders develop business cases for technology investments, outlining the expected benefits and costs in line with Fund Services priorities
  • Prioritize investments based on business value, risk reduction, and strategic alignment, ensuring focus on reducing risk and improving productivity, and ensure effective prioritization across competing priorities
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Work daily with technology teams to ensure solutions are technically feasible, scalable, and developed efficiently.
  • Engage with operations teams to streamline service delivery processes and improve operational efficiency for new and existing products.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing to create effective value propositions, develop sales tools, and execute go-to-market plans.
  • Liaise with legal, compliance, and risk departments to ensure all products adhere to regulations and manage potential risks.
• Performance Tracking: Monitor product adoption, revenue generation, and profitability, making continuous data-driven recommendations for adjustments.
• Industry Awareness: Proactively stay informed about emerging industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements within the funds services landscape.

What we’ll need from you

• Relevant experience, such as within Financial Services and Technology Strategy, defining and executing product vison and strategy in a complex and evolving market in Funds Services
• Experience working with scaled Agile team and implementation of global cross function technology transformation initiatives a plus
• Understanding of financial technology, data architecture, and digital platforms relevant to funds services. Subject matter expertise with Middle Office and/or Fund Accounting servicing is highly desirable.
• Proven communication, and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence across all levels
• Ability to manage through influence, build rapport with senior stakeholders, and drive results in a global, matrixed environment
• Ability to work independently, under pressure and manage deadlines or unexpected changes in expectations or requirements
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and decision-making skills
