As the Director and Head of Single Stock Flow Trading, you will lead a critical trading desk within our Equities franchise. This role demands strategic oversight and hands-on management of single stock flow trading activities, directly impacting the firm's profitability and market presence. You will be responsible for enhancing trading strategies, optimizing risk management, and driving performance within a dynamic market environment. Primary Responsibilities of the role

Lead and manage the Single Stock Flow Trading team, setting strategic direction, and executing trading strategies to maximize profitability and market share.

Foster strong collaboration and synergy across Specialist Sales, Cash Sales and Trading, and Equity Derivatives Flow Sales to leverage capabilities and optimize client engagement.

Proactively identify and analyse emerging market themes and drivers through deep client connections, informing trading strategies and positioning.

Oversee and manage the desk's risk exposure, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.

Drive the development and implementation of advanced trading solutions, including algorithms and quantitative models, to enhance execution efficiency and optimize pricing.

Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of excellence, continuous learning, and robust risk management practices.
What we need from you
-
Extensive experience leading a single stock flow trading desk, with a proven track record of significant revenue generation and market share expansion.

Possess a strong network of client connections within the EMEA equity markets, capable of identifying early market themes and drivers.

Deep understanding of global equity markets, market microstructure, and advanced trading strategies, including high-frequency trading.

Highly developed quantitative and analytical skills, with practical experience in trading system development and optimization.

Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, essential for cross-functional collaboration and team development.

A relevant university degree in Finance, Economics, or a quantitative discipline; a Master's degree or CFA designation is a plus.
