Recruiting a Senior Vice President level, in-business senior manager, focused on delivery excellence whilst embracing an environment of change and transformation both internally, and across the industry.

Areas within focus for this role will include representation and participation in formalized external industry forums, oversight of market driven regulatory initiatives along with internal socialization and partnership to ensure transparency and, as required, delivery.

The role will further incorporate vendor management from initiation through to onboarding and oversight.

Responsibilities:

• Develop broad understanding of big-ticket regulatory initiatives impacting Market Operations.
• Participate in and contribute to industry forums and working groups. These may range from scheduled regular working groups/ committees, through to ad-hoc sessions convened to address areas of industry development.  
• Partner with Market Operations SMEs to ensure that Citi’s position is reflected and articulated broadly across the industry.
• Develop and maintain FMI relationships.
• Identify and nurture cross-product and cross business relationships. 
• Socialise and present outcomes and developments across Senior forums.
• Participate in Market Operations analysis development for T+1 settlement and US Treasury Clearing.
• Participate in vendor discussions surrounding new products and offerings, partnering with seniors to analyze cost vs benefits.
• Demonstrate flexibility in supporting the wider initiatives and deliveries within the broader group.
• Manages adherence to policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices.
• Escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervising the activity of others.  
• Champion accountability and escalation principles.

Qualifications:

• 10+ years relevant experience in a Markets Operations role.
• Demonstrated consistent track record of delivery.
• Senior to advanced level experience in a related role preferred
• Subject matter expert in one or more areas of function
• Demonstrated analytical skills.
• Proven ability to manage various concurrent activities/projects in a high-risk environment.
• Effective project management and negotiation skills
• Consistently demonstrated clear and concise written and verbal communication.

Education:

• Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience, potentially Masters degree

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$163,600.00 - $245,400.00
