We are looking for a sharp, driven Senior Associate to join our crew and help major clients in the Japan Technology, Media and Telecommunications segments exceed their financial goals. This is your chance to be a key player in a team of pros innovating solutions with Citi’s best-in-class product specialists around the world.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Work with the Best: Team up with our Senior Bankers, supporting them in building powerful client relationships and executing deals.
- Master the Global Network: Partner with our global “Japan Desk” bankers and get hands-on experience in the origination of global cash management, trade finance, foreign exchange, structured lending, and other deal situations.
- Generate Growth: Help our Bankers identify client needs and cross-sell our suite of products and services, creating real value and generating revenue.
- Originate Opportunities: Dive deep into public filings, research reports, and financial forecasts to explore new deal opportunities and face major clients directly.
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Keep your finger on the pulse of fast-moving tech, media and communications market trends, industry shifts, and cutting-edge best practices.
Who You Are:
- Experience: 3-5 years banking experience – you are ready to level up.
- Solid Credit Skills: You have strong credit skills, understand the ins and outs of credit policies.
- Strong Communicator: You can articulate complex ideas clearly in Japanese and English, whether you're writing a report or leading a presentation.
Your Education:
- Bachelor’s / University degree or equivalent experience.
- MBA or Master's Degree in Business: preferred, but not a must.
