- The Securities & Derivative Analyst 1 is an entry-level position responsible for processing MIFT transactions and branch offices in coordination with the Operations
- Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the clearance, settlement, and investigation of client securities and derivatives transactions, with a specific focus on MIFT verification for custody products.
Responsibilities:
- Perform trade verifications to ensure accuracy of trade processing.
- Ensure accuracy on routing for MIFT custody product transactions.
- Perform signature verification and callback if required for transactions.
- Complete tasks and daily rate revaluations accurately and on time.
- Coordinate transaction processing issues to the appropriate department and collaborate on a solution.
- Generate reports to branches as required.
- Actively contribute to streamlining existing processes.
- Perform regulatory controls, account reconciliations, and record retention activities in accordance with established policies.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct, and business practices, and escalating, managing, and reporting control issues with transparency.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree
- 1 Years Related Experience / Fresh Graduate are encourage to apply
- Individuals at this level exhibit basic executional capabilities and are beginning to take on more responsibility
- Knowledge of multiple types of investment instruments including: Equity securities, Fixed Income and Asset Backed securities
- Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Access- is desired)
- Proven success as a team player

- Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience
