Meet the Team

The Platform Identity team is responsible for building the secure and unified identity foundation that powers access across the entire Splunk and Cisco ecosystem. Our mission is to deliver a centralized Identity and Access Management (IAM) platform that is scalable, resilient, and intelligent. We operate at the intersection of security, platform engineering, and user experience, partnering closely with product, architecture, and infrastructure teams. You will mentor engineers, foster a culture of innovation and inclusivity, and guide the team through complex cross-functional initiatives. You will partner with product, architecture, and executive stakeholders to prioritize work, remove blockers, and ensure alignment with broader company goals. Success in this role means elevating technical excellence, enabling seamless identity experiences for millions of users, and delivering breakthrough improvements in platform security.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Background in large-scale platform integration or migration programs, particularly in the IAM space.

  • Familiarity with IAM offerings from major cloud providers (AWS IAM, Azure AD, Google Cloud Identity).

  • Deep technical expertise in identity and access management (IAM), including protocols such as SAML, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and OAuth 2.0.

  • Strong understanding of authorization frameworks such as RBAC and ABAC, and user provisioning via SCIM.

  • Experience leading geographically distributed teams.

  • Software engineering experience / understanding programming / knowledge at least one of programming languages.
