Join the Cisco Silicon One engineering group and play a key role in enabling the development of next-generation networking silicon. Our teams build the infrastructure, tools, and automation frameworks that power large-scale silicon development across hardware and software domains.
In this role, you will be responsible for designing and owning the CI/CD ecosystem that supports complex development flows. You will work closely with software, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to build scalable automation, improve development velocity, and ensure high-quality software delivery.

Your Impact
Design, build, and maintain end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy-based pipelines.
Lead the migration of Jenkins environments from external platforms to internally managed infrastructure.
Develop automation and infrastructure tools using Python and Bash to improve reliability and efficiency.
Deploy and maintain containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.
Integrate security and quality tools such as static analysis into CI/CD workflows.
Collaborate with engineering teams to streamline development workflows and automate complex build and testing processes.
Manage integrations across development tools including GitHub, Jira, and other collaboration platforms.
Design and maintain centralized systems for managing software dependencies across multiple domains.
Maintain CI/CD infrastructure including plugin updates, system monitoring, version management, and access control.
Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and optimize system performance and scalability.
Minimum Qualifications
- B.Sc./M.Sc. in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Strong experience with Jenkins administration, architecture, and pipeline development using Groovy.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Strong scripting skills using Python and Bash for automation and tooling.
- Strong Linux system administration experience (Ubuntu/CentOS environments).
- Experience with Git-based development workflows (GitHub or similar).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience designing or migrating large-scale CI/CD infrastructures.
- Experience integrating static code analysis tools such as Coverity into development pipelines.
- Familiarity with development environments that include hardware-related software stacks (SDKs, BSPs, FPGA tools).
- Experience working with enterprise authentication systems such as LDAP or Active Directory.
- Background in managing large-scale build systems, regression testing pipelines, or performance validation environments.
