As an Account Solutions Engineer, you will focus on understanding customers’ business drivers, goals and challenges and translate them into a differentiating value-added technical architectural roadmap based upon Cisco’s leading-edge solutions. You will bridge the gap between customer needs and Cisco’s technology solutions by designing, implementing, and optimizing solutions that drive customer success and business outcomes.
Your Impact

Act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them achieve their goals by sharing technical knowledge and guiding them throughout the solution lifecycle

Own the solution design and translate customer requirements into technical solutions, often across multiple technology domains.

Participate in presales activities including scoping Statements of Work (SOW), reviewing and creating proposals, and positioning Cisco’s value in outcome-based solutions.

Conceptualize customer requirements, plan implementation strategies, design high-level architectures, and advise cross-functional teams.

Understand customer markets and industries to identify growth opportunities, risks, and mitigation plans.

Advocate for current and emerging technology solutions relevant to customer success.

Build and maintain strong relationships with customer stakeholders and Cisco Customer Experience teams.

Support technology design.

Support pre-sales activities by translating business requirements into technical designs.

Drive customer technology transitions and influence solution architectures.

Comply with company policies and utilize relevant tools to support professional services strategies.

Minimum qualifications

Minimum BA degree in an engineering field or equivalent.

Technical background in multiple technology domains with the ability to translate complex solutions into differentiating and outcome-based added-value to customers.

Proficiency in written and spoken English and Dutch.

Experience in pre-sales and solution design.

Ability to manage complex projects and customer relationships.
