What you will do

• Work on developing the software application to manage complex optical system and automation stack
• Deliver high level quality software tools
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs and devise solutions to these problems
• Collaborate with a globally distributed engineering team to solve problems
• Participate in the SW/HW integration

Minimum Qualifications

• Computer Science engineering degree at either BSc, MSc or PhD level or equivalent experience
• 3+ years in major Full Stack programming languages: C/C++, Python
• Knowledge in the use of configuration controls tools and software repository mechanisms such as Jira, GitHub, Bitbucket
• Understanding of computer networks and network protocols (TCP/IP etc)

Preferred Qualifications

• Programming experience in Linux environment
• Ability to work in globally distributed team with fast prototyping and development
• Experience within optics/optical networking
• Knowledge of basic optical infrastructure on DWDM systems
