Your Impact
As a Network Engineering Manager, you will:

Lead daily activities of software engineers focused on the development, enhancement, and maintenance of network modules and applications, including cloud-based and internet-related tools.

Guide teams working on medium-to-large features from technical design through completion, ensuring adherence to coding standards and development best practices.

Evaluate and resolve technical feasibility, design, security optimization, and production issues, ensuring technical quality and continuous improvement throughout the development process.

Lead projects end-to-end, from requirements gathering to deployment, while applying agile and other modern development methodologies.
-
Monitor compliance with procedures, policies, and standards, acting on issues and recommending enhancements as necessary.

Participate in product roadmap planning, provide accurate schedules and resource estimates, and manage resource allocation effectively.

Represent the team in meetings with customers and stakeholders to explain solutions, gather feedback, and ensure that input is reflected in design and deployment.

Serve as the primary contact for cross-functional interactions, eliminating blockers, holding technical discussions, and solving immediate problems.

Independently execute advanced network and security configurations (VLAN, SVI, BGP, ACL, PBR, etc.), analyze network topologies, and implement solutions.

Develop and implement network automation scripts to enhance security provisioning, configuration management, and incident response.

Oversee system patching, software upgrades, and configuration changes in accordance with change control procedures.

Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation to support operational continuity and knowledge sharing.

Demonstrate independence and initiative in learning new technologies and identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
Minimum Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field with 8+ years of related experience, OR
-
Master’s degree with 6+ years of related experience, OR
-
PhD with 3+ years of related experience.
-
Previous supervisory or team lead experience required.
-
Hands-on experience in operation and maintenance of data center, backbone networking, and network security.

Proficiency in network and security configuration and troubleshooting.
-
Experience managing system patches, upgrades, and change control in a large-scale environment.
-
Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
-
Advanced experience operating and maintaining Cisco network platforms, including enterprise switches and routers (IOS-XE), data center switches (NXOS), backbone routers (IOS-XR), Cisco NGFW Firepower, and FMC, with proficiency in command line syntax.

Deep knowledge of Cisco ACI environments, including technical principles, configuration methods, and management through Ansible.

Proficient in advanced network technologies: vPC, LACP, STP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, VXLAN, ACL, and PBR.
-
Proven track record of developing and implementing network automation scripts.

Expertise in creating and maintaining technical documentation for knowledge sharing and operational continuity.

Demonstrated ability to manage medium-to-large projects, including resource planning, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration.

Experience in optimizing engineering processes, enabling team efficiency, and leading technology adoption.

Strong self-motivation and ability to proactively learn and apply new technologies.
