Meet the Team

Splunk Security Solution Architects sit at the intersection of cybersecurity expertise and customer impact. We partner closely with sales, pre-sales, customers, and partners to design and deliver security solutions that help organisations become more resilient, detect threats faster, and respond with confidence. This is a highly collaborative, customer-facing team made up of curious, motivated, and passionate security professionals.

Your Impact

As a Security Solution Architect, you will serve as a subject matter expert for Splunk’s security portfolio and the broader cybersecurity landscape. You will act as a trusted advisor to customers, helping them map their security priorities to Splunk’s capabilities while supporting account teams throughout the sales lifecycle.

You will be the “eyes and ears” of the field—bringing insights back to the business, influencing solution design, and helping customers improve their overall security posture in meaningful ways.

What You’ll Do

  • Establish and proactively maintain strong, trusted relationships with customers and partners.

  • Partner closely with account teams to understand sales strategies and support execution through briefings, demos, proposals, Proof of Values (POVs), integrations, and issue resolution.

  • Engage directly with customers to understand their security architecture, infrastructure, and cybersecurity objectives, and map those needs to Splunk security solutions.

  • Deliver compelling demonstrations of Splunk’s security products and services in person, remotely, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.

  • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs and RFPs with clear, well-structured inputs.

  • Provide hands-on technical leadership to drive resolution of complex technical and integration challenges.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally while communicating clearly and effectively through presentations, emails, reports, and customer-facing documentation.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Splunk Certified Administrator or equivalent hands-on experience administering Splunk Enterprise and Splunk solutions.

  • 5+ years of experience as a pre-sales engineer (SE), systems integrator, or in an equivalent cybersecurity role.

  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity concepts including SIEM, incident response (IR), automation, endpoint security, threat intelligence, and modern cyber threats.

  • Experience with enterprise operating systems (Windows and Unix/Linux) and networking technologies such as firewalls, proxies, routing, and switching.

  • Proven experience working with at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with enterprise security technologies including AV, email security, vulnerability management, TIP, and databases.

  • Experience with scripting languages, particularly Python.

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.

  • Highly motivated, curious, and eager to explore what’s possible with technology in a fast-paced environment.

  • Industry certifications such as SANS GIAC, CISSP, CISM, or equivalent are highly desirable.
