Meet the Team

The Multicloud Network (MCN) team builds a multi-tenant cloud-to-cloud and site-to-cloud networking service delivered through the Meraki Dashboard and MCN APIs. We own backend services like Cloud Discovery and v PoP Writer that connect customer policy and connectivity definitions to data plane configuration across regions. We run an AI-first workflow across architecture, development, testing, and operations, and build internal AI tooling (agents, MCP servers, automations) to move faster. Our work sits at the center of a larger system that spans the Dashboard, backend services, and data plane infrastructure. We operate under Cisco's Responsible AI Framework, with human review, security controls, and cost-aware usage as standard practice.

Your Impact

Design and operate backend services that continuously discover cloud resources and map network topology to keep customer views accurate. Build reliable configuration distribution workflows for regional v PoPs so data plane policy stays consistent and secure. Improve system performance, availability, and scalability to support enterprise customers across many clouds and deliver end-to-end features in the Meraki Dashboard. Apply AI-assisted development, testing, and operations workflows to move faster while keeping human review in the loop. Strengthen compliance and security by maintaining high test coverage, safe dependency update practices, and responsible AI controls.

Minimum Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Experience building backend services in Golang.
• Experience integrating with at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, GCP, OCI, or similar).
• Experience designing data models and working with relational databases (PostgreSQL or similar).
• Experience building and maintaining automated tests in production codebases.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with AI-assisted development, testing, or operations workflows.
• Experience building or integrating AI tools or agents (for example, MCP servers or internal automations).
• Familiarity with responsible AI practices, including human review and data privacy/security considerations.
• Experience with monitoring, cost controls, or access management for AI tooling.
• Experience with multi-cloud integrations or cross-cloud networking.
