This role supports the strategy and delivery of corporate giving sponsorships—ensuring alignment with business priorities, nonprofit eligibility, and measurable impact in the communities we serve. With a balance of analytical rigor and collaborative energy, the Senior Analyst helps bring our community investments to life through project and stakeholder management.
Responsibilities
- Ensure corporate giving sponsorships deliver value by reviewing nonprofit eligibility, confirming alignment with business priorities, and identifying opportunities for branding and employee engagement.
- Own real‑time sponsorship data, delivering accurate tracking, analysis, and insights that reflect investments across local communities.
- Create and share clear, consistent reporting that highlights outcomes, trends, and opportunities to strengthen community impact.
- Activate sponsorship benefits by leading execution or partnering closely with internal stakeholders to deliver agreed‑upon elements such as branding, agreements, and employee participation.
- Collaborate with communications and marketing partners to elevate community storytelling through data highlights and impact narratives, both internally and externally.
- Support operational excellence by managing the centralized corporate giving inbox and maintaining related documentation, policies, and compliance materials.
- Contribute to forward‑looking reporting and modeling to show current status and future projections.
- Provide flexible project and operational support to the Community Programs team, contributing to both short‑ and long‑term goals.
- Actively participate in team meetings, sharing insights, ideas, and a collaborative mindset that strengthens the team’s collective impact.
Ideal candidates will offer
- Minimum 3 years of relevant professional experience in an analytical, operations, or program support role.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and project management tools, including the use of formulas and calculations to manage, analyze, and report data.
- Experience using data to inform decisions and communicate insights clearly to a variety of internal and external audiences.
- Familiarity with corporate giving platforms such as Benevity (strongly preferred).
- Technical proficiency in identifying and using AI tools or platforms to enhance operations, automate workflows, and support data‑driven decision‑making.
- Strong attention to detail with exceptional follow‑through in a fast‑paced, matrixed environment.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities independently, with excellent time management and sound judgment.
- A positive, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn, collaborate, and contribute beyond individual responsibilities to support shared team goals.
- Ability to work from a Cigna Group office 3 days a week, as directed by the business. Those office options would be either St. Louis or Bloomfield, CT.
- Ability to travel occasionally, as needed, to corporate, team and community events.
