Position Summary

The Business Project Advisor is responsible for supporting the systems and process used during the month end close cycle. This individual will work with users, technology, accounting and finance to support the month end processes to ensure successful close.

Responsibilities

• Manage the maintenance and creation of Business Objects reports used by Accounting and FP&A
• Respond and research data issues in a timely manner
• Respond to ad hoc financial and business partner inquiries and requests, resolve financial discrepancies
• Collaborate with stakeholders and IT developers on enhancement requests
• Actively seek opportunities for improvement through process changes or identification of system enhancements
• Collaborate with BO Team on updates and upgrades to ensure minimal impact to users
• Support Access databases throughout Finance as well as assist with MS Excel projects involving VB, macros, formulas, etc
• Other special projects as assigned

Experience Required

Qualified candidates will typically have 11-13 years of progressive experience in financial analysis, and system support. Successful candidates will be high energy, self-starters with a focus on quality output and project delivery success. Candidates must be excellent problem solvers and creative thinkers.

Experience Desired

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or computer science
