• Automation Engineering Lead Analyst

  This role will work with manual QA testers and setup the automation framework, building new test frameworks, writing and designing automation scripts from scratch and maintaining automated test scripts to ensure quality control standards are achieved. We need an QA Automation Engineer who is successful in growing, developing, and implementing automated testing solutions to maximize testing coverage and reduce test cycle time. This will require cross coordination between multiple teams. This role will also provide direction for implementing best practices to determine optimum solutions.

Our people make all the difference in our success. We are looking for engineer to develop, optimize and fine-tune AI models for performance, scalability, and accuracy. In this role you will support the full software lifecycle of design, development, testing, and support for technical delivery. This role requires working with both onsite and offshore team members in properly defining testable scenarios based on requirements/acceptance criteria.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for architecting, designing and implementing test automation frameworks from ground up into a continuous integration and execution model
• Evaluate existing automation framework and provide automation solution for building end to end regression suite
• Develop, execute and maintain automation test scripts to meet software release deliverables, project testing requirements and other quality considerations
  · Define test data conditions and partners and works closely with Data team to obtain the data
• Actively engage in defect reporting and triaging
• Responsible for creating data portability functions. Create data necessary for the scripts based on the functionality
• Responsible for developing smoke, functional and regression test suites for GUI Front End, and Database backend
• Document, maintain, and monitor software problems
• Recommend strategies and methods to improve test plans and test processes
• Maintain well organized records of test results and generate historical analysis of test results
• As a member of the scrum team, closely interact with both onsite and offshore team members. The onsite and offshore interactions include scrum team members (Scrum masters, developers, Product Owners and QA at onsite and offshore)

Qualifications Required Skills:

• Minimum of 4 Years of Automation experience required
• Preferably 5 years in IT
  · API Automation testing
•  Data validation experience with strong SQL knowledge required (knowledge of joins, table relationships, and subqueries)
• Experience in testing web application and web services developed using latest technologies and frameworks required: DOTNET C#, Rest Assured, JSON, etc.
•  Experience building new (from scratch) QA automation framework is a plus
•  Hands-on experience with a mix of modern Test Automation tools and frame works
•  Experience in CI/CD process required
• Prefer experience using UI testing frameworks – Selenium
• Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure preferred)
• Must have broad knowledge experience with testing and modeling tools, and change management and test case generation techniques
• Solid understanding of Quality Assurance methods and practices
• Deep understanding of manual and automated testing concepts
• Solid understanding of STLC (Software Test Life Cycle)
• Solid understanding of SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle)
• Strong Object-Oriented Programming Skills
• Well-developed problem solving and analytical skills
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills

Required Experience & Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required

• Master’s Degree in related field a plus

• Location & Hours of Work

• Full-time position, working 40 hours per week. Expected overlap with US hours as appropriate

• Primarily based in the Innovation Hub in Hyderabad, India in a hybrid working model (3 days WFO and 2 days WAH)
