Position Summary:
Evernorth is seeking an experienced Financial Advisor to partner with key Enterprise shared service organizations and drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support.
This role is responsible for coordinating budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and cost tracking of key portfolio investments, acting as a trusted advisor to Finance and Business leadership. This individual will provide comprehensive financial leadership and accountability, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and delivering actionable insights to optimize performance
The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and actual results reporting for Enterprise shared service functions, ensuring robust financial oversight and alignment with enterprise objectives.
- Partner with business leaders to deliver actionable, data-driven insights that inform investment decisions, portfolio prioritization, and resource allocation, supporting strategic growth and operational excellence.
- Oversee variance analysis, performance tracking, and financial reporting to drive transparency, accountability, and informed decision-making across the organization.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, dashboards, and scenario analyses to support strategic initiatives and transformation programs, enabling proactive identification of risks and opportunities.
- Drive cost optimization strategies across responsible spend areas, balancing innovation and operational stability while championing continuous improvement and value creation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure budgets are aligned with business objectives, fostering a culture of partnership and shared accountability for financial outcomes.
- Maintain and validate project assumptions in key systems, to ensure data integrity and support accurate financial planning and analysis.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
- 11 – 13 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with at least 3+ years in project management financial modeling.
- Strong understanding of technology finance (cloud economics, digital transformation, IT investments).
- Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Hyperion, SAP, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, or equivalent).
- Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations.
