Position Summary:

Evernorth is seeking an experienced Finance Lead – to partner with key Enterprise shared service organizations to drive financial planning, analysis, and strategic decision support. This role will play a critical part in aligning financial strategies with business growth, digital transformation, and innovation priorities.

The Enterprise FP&A and Treasury Lead will be responsible for overseeing budgeting, forecasting, performance management, and cost optimization for key Enterprise shared service functions, while acting as a trusted advisor to Finance and Business leadership. In addition, this leadership role will provide governance oversight for a Treasury administration and capital planning function.

The responsibilities for this role include, but are not limited to:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting for certain Shared Services functions (including Technology, Marketing, and Clinical areas).
  • Partner with business leaders to provide data-driven insights that guide investment decisions, portfolio prioritization, and resource allocation.
  • Manage variance analysis, performance tracking, and financial reporting to ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Develop and maintain financial models, dashboards, and scenario analysis to support strategic initiatives and transformation programs.
  • Drive cost optimization strategies across for the responsible spend areas, while balancing innovation and operational stability.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align budgets with business objectives.
  • Provide oversight of a Treasury governance and banking administration function and certain capital planning activities.
  • Mentor and guide junior analysts, fostering a culture of analytical excellence and business partnership.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field (MBA/CA/CFA preferred).
16-18 years of progressive experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, with at least 3 years in a FP&A leadership role.
Strong understanding of technology finance (cloud economics, digital transformation, IT investments).
General understanding of Treasury (banking services/banking portals)
Proficiency in financial systems and tools (Hyperion, SAP, Workday Adaptive, Power BI, or equivalent).
Demonstrated ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive decisions in a complex, matrixed environment.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate financial insights into strategic recommendations.
