Position Overview:

The systems analyst will be responsible for analyzing and evaluating business requirements, consulting with personnel from various departments and identifying areas for technical solutions development and business process improvements.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with key stakeholders from the Domain, Application owners, Data stewards, Analytics, Legal, Compliance and IT areas to identify scope and understand key requirements
• Perform complex application implementations using latest techniques and technologies which includes AWS Services, RDBMSs, Postgres, APIs and querying languages etc.
• Review the existing platform by capturing requirements on areas of improvement while collaborating with the development team in determining the implementation of enhancements
• Work with DBA and Data Modeler to design and implement changes for application engagements to facilitate the archive and purge of non-compliant data
• Review, design and prepare applications/system specifications for Information Systems solutions which address business needs and methods for testing and implementation
• Ability to interpret, analyze and report on in-depth data analysis
• Should be open to learning new tools/technologies and adapt based on Project requirements
•  Ability to take ownership on assigned tasks and report progress to senior-level leadership
• Ability to work as part of a self-organizing team in a highly Agile environment

Qualifications Required Skills:

• A passion for healthcare and the potential for technology to improve peoples' lives.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills. Should be able to facilitate group discussions.
• The aptitude to deliver enterprise and/or platform systems and solutions in a variety of scenarios.
• Experience in distilling complex ideas into an implementation plan, and then delivering it out
• The ability to critically evaluate the trade-offs and implementation impacts of emerging vs. more established technologies.
• Experience in JAD sessions with business users, and help formulate technical/business requirements.

Required Experience & Education:

• 8-12 years of overall relevant experience, mainly in the IT Industry
• 5-8 years of healthcare experience solving business problems or needs through the application of data analytics approach.
• 8 years’ experience working with various RDBMS which can include DB2, Oracle, SQL Server etc.
• Ability to build intermediate to complex queries, leveraging common query languages (SQL, HQL etc)
• Knowledge of AWS Services (Cloud Technology) at a foundational level
• Experience in testing, debugging and solution designing.
• Experience with hosting requirement gathering sessions and ability to articulate the same
• Ability to function in a Production Support like environment is a plus
