How You Will Contribute

• Assist a global services organization manage 3rd party costs
• Perform monthly financial close-outs in alignment with Ciena accounting. Ensure proper accounting across service delivery cycles
• Collaborate with management & program leaders to meet financial goals
• Ensure accurate results reporting for internal control & project management
• Verify service delivery entitlement & cost alignment
• Apply strong communication skills across teams to ensure project schedules & business objectives are met
• Optimize cost management processes
• Maintain and update metrics in Salesforce and Kantata for service projects

The Must Haves

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field with 2-5 years of relevant experience, or equivalent education and experience.
• Familiarity with procurement processes, including PO creation and cost management.
• Proven ability to meet monthly and quarterly financial cycle deadlines.
• Strong critical and analytical thinking, organizational awareness, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands on knowledge dealing with service entitlements. The ability to navigate through multiple business applications for determination.
• High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
• Experience in cross-functional team environments.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice to Haves

• Understanding of budget management and attaining margin targets.
• Salesforce experience
• Experience in creating Power BI reports
• Background in process optimization and project management
