This is a position providing reliability and integrity of equipment for entire plant.

  • Leads the assessment of Asset Criticality for plant equipment in cross function environment
  • Leads the development of Asset Strategy in cross functional environment using acceptable reliability practices such as:
  • Chevron methodology of streamlined Reliability Centered Maintenance (sRCM) & ETC asset strategy template
  • Industry accepted practices like Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) & Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA).
  • Leads reliability improvement programs such as Reliability Opportunity Identification (ROI), Bad Actor & Routine Work Improvement Process (RWIP) in cross functional environment for both Mechanical and E&I discipline.
  • Responsible for reliability KPI tracking & reporting
  • Lead or support incident investigation and perform RCA to improve equipment reliability performance
  • Use of reliability analytic tool such as Reliability Growth Analysis (RGA) & etc to predict future reliability performance of equipment
  • Leads or participates in complex equipment troubleshooting and cross/multi-functional problem-solving events
  • Raise MOC to improve reliability of equipment as & when needed
  • Supports as reliability subject matter expert (SME) for the development and implementation of major capital projects and plant modifications
  • Coordinator for Reliability Incident Report (RIR) program and perform periodic reporting on program status
  • Familiar with Enterprise Asset Management system (i.e SAP) and able to extract equipment maintenance record/history from the system
  • High strategic planning skills, ensuring high performance of all plant equipment.
  • Monitor metrics to measure the effectiveness of reliability and inspection programs as per URIP requirement
  • Develop action plan for improvement based on the metric shortfall
  • Follow strategies, establish cost metrics and measure maintenance (Mechanical/E&I) cost performance.
  • Responsible for planning the annual OPEX budget against the established PM tasks and anticipated CM tasks. Follow maintenance (Mechanical/E&I) and TA budget.
  • Monitors spending and identifies opportunities to improve cost performance.
  • Support Capex executive.
  • Network with other Oronite plants and Non-operated Joint Venture (NOJV) site to share best practices on reliability & inspection practices
  • Leverage on vendor product innovation on design or material superiority to enhance reliability
  • Leverage on latest technologies to perform condition monitoring work more effectively & efficiently
  • Educates and provide support to stakeholder (i.e Operation, Technical and Maintenance) on effective implementation of reliability processes
  • Organize & conduct relevant reliability training for stakeholders as required
  • Responsible for making MRO and Services purchasing orders, ensuring cost element matching the MGC.
  • Manage orders through SMART GEP.
  • Accept the goods and services, verify the invoice tax rate, and submit payment requests.
  • Carry out ‘‘5s’’ activity and improve the housekeeping.
  • Accomplish Opex savings through initiating new technical solutions, negotiating contract prices, and simplifying workflows.
  • Encourage in-house contract workers to raise ideas on competitive performance, safety and quality concerns.
  • Any other tasks assigned by supervisor

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above.
  • Able to communicate effectively internally and externally.
  • Great Interpersonal and coordination skills.
  • Able to identify problems and provide solutions to solve the problems.
  • Over 5 years’ working experience for maintenance and R&I related work.
  • Positive working attitude and high accountability.
  • Excellent communication skill in both oral & written English is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge on reliability best practice.
  • Have basic knowledge that cover different equipment type (rotating equipment, static equipment & E&I equipment) .
  • Strategic planning and influencing skills.
