Responsible for managing all country procurement activities in line with Global/Regional guidelines and maximizing value to stakeholder through sourcing and negotiations. Advises Business Unit regarding the P2P processes. Ensures coordination between regional, downstream, global and local procurement. Works collaboratively as a business partner and assists Regional Category Manager to drive supplier relationships as well as cost reduction strategies. Coordinates with local business stakeholders to ensure quality of service and monitor compliance/Legal of agreements. Tracks supplier performance and savings results. Participates in the development and implementation of procurement strategies.
Manages defined categories within all business groups of Chevron Lubricants Egypt :

Be responsible for the management and direction setting of all country procurement activities as per procurement threshold and guidelines.

Manage the purchasing process to assure compliant, timely, efficient, high-quality & cost-effective delivery of goods & services.

Be responsible for the implementation of world class procurement processes including Global/Regional guidelines.

Be responsible for the monitoring & reporting of procurement activities of the country.

Ensure to maximize value to stakeholder: Cost reduction capability, sourcing and negotiations.

Provide guidance to business units on matters pertaining to the Procurement threshold guidelines & other Global guidelines as deployed.
Provides functional guidance and coordination for all aspects of Local Procurement/Category Management including operational and capital expenditures
Works with CVX Procurement, Country and Plant Management and Area Procurement Operation Manager to ensure principles, strategies, processes, standards, and Chevron Way behaviors are applied to deliver Procurement results for the region.
- Assists in the facilitation of Global, Downstream, Regional and Local Procurement alignment.
Support Regional Category Specialist in prioritizing, evaluating and executing Global, Regional and Local Procurement Opportunities

Works collaboratively as a business partner to assess opportunities and manage supplier relationships. Oversees process to do so and presents a business case and implementation plan for changes.

Works with Region, Area, Country and Plant management to review plans, provide knowledgeable people to address issues, provide guidance and to implement—unless there is a business case presented to do otherwise.

Works closely with the Regional Category Manager and Regional Category Specialists to ensure the procurement strategy is aligned with business plan objectives.

Regularly communicates plans and progress to ensure alignment and influence the broad adoption of cost reduction strategies.
Coordinates with other local leaders, including local business stakeholders to ensure the quality-of-service delivery in Category Management for the region.

Collocated with customer as needed to ensure tie to business, engagement, responsiveness and technical and commercial knowledge.

Monitor agreement compliance .

Direct Enterprise and Regional sourcing.

Track and report savings results and supplier performance information (KPI)

Strategic Supplier Management.
Participates in the Development and implementation of long-term and short-term regional and local procurement strategies for International Fuels & Lubricants.
Chevron participates in E-Verify in certain locations as required by law.
