About the Position
The Environmental/GHG Digital Specialist in the Shale & Tight business is responsible for supporting the development, implementation, and sustainability of digital systems to enhance and maintain environmental compliance and performance. The Environmental Reporting Analyst reports to the Environmental Team Lead in Chevron ENGINE in Bengaluru, India.
Key Responsibilities

Act as a technical expert for environmental digital information management, solution development, and business engagement to enhance digital solutions for environmental compliance within Upstream Oil and Gas operations.

Support the implementation and sustainability of Environmental digital tools and systems, working closely with applicable Environmental teams.

This role will handle requests for system enhancement and propose prioritized business cases and proposals for solutions.

This role is responsible for running and maintaining digital tools, pipelines and dashboard integrations related to primary environmental systems.

Perform and support the development and sustainability of Low Code solutions and apply technical skills across HSE and IT to minimize technical debt.

Partner with various workflow business partners and stakeholders to deliver on environmental compliance commitments.

Innovate to drive improvement, identify efficiencies, and increase standardization across multiple business regions and digital tools/workflows.

Ensure environmental data is populated in environmental digital systems.

Develop digital learning and awareness campaigns to increase digital skills and competencies within the workforce.

Support data collection methods and practices comply with local, state, and federal environmental regulations and standards.
Required Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in environmental science, Chemistry, Engineering, or a related field.
-
Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental reporting and compliance with a preference for those with experience in the Oil and gas industry.

Required for candidates with knowledge of specialized environmental reporting software (specifically Cority / ACTS).
-
Candidates with United State air regulations (such as NESHAP, NSPS, MACT, Title V, or NSR).

Strong communication skills and the ability to translate data into business insights, learnings, and recommendations digestible by HSE SMEs and leaders.

Strong coordination skills to manage needs and expectations between teams and customers.

Proven ability to manage digital solution intake, assess business value, and support prioritization strategic opportunities related to Environmental data systems and pipelines.

Strong attention to detail, project management, and prioritization skills needed.

Consistent demonstration of proactively communicating areas of concern or identification of compliance concerns with regional business contacts.
