  • This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and executing feasible operational and supply plans to ensure safe, reliable, and cost effective plant operations and product supply. and works cross‑functionally with Operations, Procurement, Commercial, Logistics, and technical teams to maximize enterprise value.
  • Develop monthly plans including production; stock transfer; purchasing; bulk shipment with focus on supply reliability, margin maximization and cost optimization and collaborate with VCO Commercial & Optimization Coordinators, Manufacturing & Procurement teams to deliver plans.
  • Operationalize monthly plans with stakeholders (Procurement, Operations, Technical & etc.) providing key highlights, challenges and mitigation plan to supply them reliably**.**
  • Manage deviations from monthly plan arising from unplanned events such as equipment shutdowns, raw materials shortages, demand swings & etc.
  • Key interface between Manufacturing, Sales and Product Lines to align demand forecast, new products commercialization and supply plans to meet customers’ requirements and new products development.
  • Efficient and effective inventory management to optimize cashflow, such as supply sources security and optimization and adjusting the inventory targets with business changes.
  • Set annual budget for supply chain (tollers, terminals, warehouses, logistics) and provide inputs to raw materials, marine and other contracts
  • Work closely with the commercial team to understand demand forecast fluctuations and provide inputs to Regional Supply Planning group and planning for replenishment products in China warehouse/terminal.
  • Optimize inventory of products in warehouse/terminal in China as per Inventory target (Drum, Iso & Bulk business) to meet customer demand.
  • Work with the Regional Supply Chain to develop Inventory Turns Targets and ensure that work processes are in place to manage day-to-day inventory and able to share inventory parameters, how inventory is measured and how safety stock is calculated to meet yearend inventory target. Manage and take corrective action to ensure stock levels are in control.
  • BCP management in warehouse /terminal in China as per alignment with commercial team & Regional supply planning team.
  • Work together with the regional supply planning team & Account Manager to minimize Old & Slow Inventory
  • Lead and/or participate Supply Chain/Sales projects in China. Use Lean tools to achieve cost saving, drive strategic and continuous improvement. Continue to seek the opportunities to simplify process.
  • Support China Supply Chain leader to facilitate the development and establishment of distribution requirements in support of business objectives and customer requirements. Address any logistical issues associated with imports of products and operational management of all warehouses, terminal and transportation in China.
  • Work with Regional Supply Chain to support any Contract Manufacturing operations (day-to-day operations and process improvements) in China.
  • Developing/track Operational Excellence (OE) and performance metrics to drive continuous improvement in OE and service of 3rd party service providers and contract manufacturers
  • Develop monthly production plan for manufacturing, blending, shipping, loading, unloading and raw material transfer activities with focus on supply reliability & cost optimization.
  • Develop & issue Daily Operating Instructions to operation shop floor with details on scheduling of manufacturing, blending, shipping, loading & unloading activities.
  • Participate in look ahead discussions with maintenance and operations to provide optimal windows for maintenance activities.
  • Support incident investigation process to address operational & production issues identifying root causes & developing plans to close the gaps.
  • Identifies & manages deviations from the monthly plan arising from unplanned events Issues weekly blending & shipping production & inventory report & tracks operational metrics.
  • Identifies opportunities to minimize the operating cost in line with Operating Philosophy and efficient resource management
  • Develop, monitor & execute plans to fulfill customer orders.

Job Requirement:

  • Bachelor's Degree or above with more than 5 years of experience as role for logistics/supply chain in Oil/Petroleum/Petrochemical or Lubricant Additivities Manufacturing facility
  • Able to work in a cross-functional environment
  • Able to identify problems and provide solutions to solve the problems.
  • Positive working attitude and high accountability.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Strategic planning and influencing skills.
