HR BUSINESS PARTNER, BELGIUM AND LUXEMBOURG
Your role @ Chanel
Reporting to the HR Director for Benelux and Scandinavia, you will implement and promote HR policies for our people based in Belgium and Luxembourg, across our three businesses: Fragrance and Beauty, Fashion and Watches and Fine Jewelry. In this capacity, you will act as a trusted business partner to managers, providing them with your expertise and supporting them on a daily basis in the management and development of their teams and organization. As part of the Benelux and Scandinavia zone, you belong and will collaborate closely with the Benelux & Scandinavia HR team based across Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Stockholm. This role is based in Brussels, with regular travels expected to our points of sales in Belgium and Luxembourg.
The Impact You Can Create at Chanel
You will serve as a trusted partner to our people in Belgium and Luxembourg, managing the daily HR activities as follows:

Act as a key point of contact for the teams and their managers in order to create and promote a positive working environment, providing advice and ensuring compliance on local labour legislations and regulations as well as internal Chanel policies.

Manage recruitment and onboarding, performance management, talent development and disciplinary procedures in compliance with local regulations

Support the local deployment and facilitation of core Global HR processes: performance reviews, development interviews, talent reviews, etc.

Contribute to transversal HR projects across the Benelux and Scandinavia zone.
What You Will Bring
With a general higher education background in human resources or labour law, you are passionate about retail and have 5 to 10 years' proven experience in generalist HR roles. You have a strong knowledge of current legislation in Belgium, and ideally in Luxembourg, solid project management skills and are comfortable with HR information systems.
You are curious, proactive, agile and pragmatic, with an appetite for hands-on HR work and the drive to get things done. You have the necessary perspective to advise and challenge managers and are able to build qualitative partnerships with all your stakeholders by acting with integrity. Your team spirit, situational intelligence and sense of service will be essential assets for this role.
You are fluent in French, English and Dutch.
Living in or around Brussels and full time available.
