We are looking for a Senior Accountant who will report directly to the Accounting Manager and be a member of the Accounting Team. The position is based in CHANEL Turkey Office.

WHAT IMPACT YOU CAN CREATE AT CHANEL

• Ensuring that invoices and invoice-equivalent documents are recorded in accordance with applicable accounting standards and legal regulations, and verifying the accuracy of these records.
• Issuing reports of the works carried out, upon request
• Following up accounting works in accordance with the procedure and regulations.
• Making inventory costing and reconciliation process
• Performing provision and year-end closing entries in compliance with accounting standards.
• Providing documentation for the audit team
• Preparation of the required reports for government institutions according to legal regulations
• Preparation of tax declarations
• Fixed asset transactions and depreciation recording

WHAT YOU WILL BRING

• 5-8 years of experience in accounting roles, recently as Senior Accountant or similar role

• University degree in Business or Economics relevant field; MSc/MA will be a plus

• In depth knowledge of IFRS accounting

• Experience in analysis, implementation and evaluation of Accounting procedures and IFRS

• Excellent communication abilities

• Fluent in both Turkish and English
