Copenhagen Fashion Boutique, Chashier

CHANEL Denmark is currently looking for a Cashier with a passion for client service and expertise within cash register operations.

The job of a Cashier is to perform cash register operation, strictly respecting procedures and contributing to the Boutique’s sales development.

The position is based in Copenhagen and reports hierarchically to the Operations Manager.

• Collecting all payments and ensuring the opening and closing of the cash register at the end of the day
• Mastering the various professional situations, carrying out cash register operations and accepting the corresponding modes of payment
• Applying the control procedures for the various means of payment and identification documents
• Staying informed by hierarchical superiors about changes in regulations and procedures
• Entering information in compliance with the customer account creation and modification procedures, respecting the client’s privacy
• Identifying and passing on to hierarchical superiors any duplicate customer accounts
• Collaborating with the Operations Manager and the stock team in tracking and preparing uniform orders, office supplies, and client amenities
• Elevating the client experience in collaboration with the Fashion Advisors and Hosts team’s, promoting collaboration by ensuring information sharing
• Maintaining a rigorous and detail-oriented approach to ensure accuracy and efficiency in daily operations

Position Requirements

• Experience working as a Cashier in the Retail sector preferably in Fashion
• Excellent attention to details
• Strong computer proficiency and flair for figures
• Ability to multi-task projects in a dynamic, fast paced environment with shifting priorities
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and stand/walk for extended hours
• Fluent in Danish and English
• Demonstrate proactivity across a variety of tasks
• Team collaboration and willingness to share the know-how
• Highly motivated and interested in Luxury, you enjoy working in a multicultural environment and are known for your thoroughness, reliability, interpersonal skills, and commitment to service.
