THE POSITION
As Store Manager, you will serve as the primary ambassador of Orlebar Brown in Ánima Los Cabos, fully accountable for translating the brand’s global vision into an exceptional local retail execution. Reporting directly to the Brand Manager Mexico, this role plays a critical part in driving commercial performance, brand equity, and operational excellence within a highly visible luxury retail environment.
You will have end-to-end responsibility for the store, including sales delivery, profitability, KPI management, team leadership, client development, and flawless day-to-day operations.
The Store Manager is expected to lead from the front, setting the standard in customer experience, visual presentation, and brand storytelling, while ensuring strict adherence to company policies, procedures, and luxury retail best practices.
This position requires strong commercial acumen, people leadership capability, and the ability to balance strategic objectives with hands-on operational execution. As part of a growing brand within the CHANEL ecosystem, the Store Manager will collaborate closely with the Brand Manager Mexico and cross-functional partners to support sustainable growth and long-term brand positioning in the Mexican market.
KEY ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Commercial & Business Performance

Own and deliver the store’s sales targets, profitability, and KPI performance in line with the annual commercial plan defined by the Brand Manager Mexico.

Analyze sales results, traffic, conversion, average transaction value, and client metrics to identify opportunities and implement corrective actions.

Actively drive business development initiatives, including local activations, client events, and partnerships aligned with the brand’s luxury positioning.

Ensure consistent execution of pricing, promotions, and product launches, in alignment with global and regional guidelines.
Client Experience & Brand Representation

Act as the ultimate brand ambassador, ensuring that every client interaction reflects Orlebar Brown’s values, heritage, and luxury service standards.

Personally engage with top clients and VICs, building long-term relationships and ensuring personalized service and follow-up.

Oversee and elevate clienteling practices, including client data capture, CRM usage, and outreach strategies to drive repeat business.

Guarantee a seamless and elevated customer journey across all touchpoints, from first contact to post-purchase engagement.
Team Leadership & Talent Development

Recruit, onboard, train, and retain a high-performing team, ensuring roles, responsibilities, and expectations are clearly defined.

Lead by example on the sales floor, coaching the team on selling techniques, product knowledge, and client engagement.

Conduct regular performance reviews, provide continuous feedback, and implement development plans to strengthen individual and team capabilities.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and accountable team culture aligned with Orlebar Brown and CHANEL values.
Operational Excellence & Compliance

Ensure flawless execution of all operational processes, including scheduling, payroll coordination, inventory management, cash handling, and store banking.

Maintain accurate stock control through cycle counts, stock reconciliations, and loss prevention measures.

Guarantee full compliance with company policies, internal controls, and local labor and commercial regulations.

Proactively identify operational risks and implement solutions to protect the business, assets, and people.
Visual Merchandising & Brand Standards

Execute visual merchandising and window displays according to global guidelines, ensuring the store consistently reflects brand image and seasonal storytelling.

Adapt VM execution to the local market while maintaining strict alignment with brand standards.

Ensure store maintenance, cleanliness, and presentation meet luxury retail expectations at all times.
Reporting & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Prepare and submit regular business reports, including sales performance, KPIs, staffing, and operational updates to the Brand Manager Mexico.

Act as the primary liaison between the store and HQ functions, sharing qualitative market feedback and client insights.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support broader brand initiatives and long-term growth objectives.
CANDIDATE PROFILE
-
Proven experience in building, coaching, and developing high-performing retail teams.
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong internal and external customer service capabilities.

Experience in high-end or luxury retail; familiarity with menswear is highly desirable.

Demonstrated ability to drive sales and footfall, including during quieter trading periods.

Strong clienteling expertise, including client book development and reporting proficiency (Excel, Word), as well as comfort with POS and back-office systems.

Highly detail-oriented, proactive multitasker with the ability to balance operational execution and strategic perspective.
