CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Senior Story Programmer to join us and work on Cyberpunk 2, the follow-up to Cyberpunk 2077. In this role, you will help the Team develop Story and Quest tools to enable designers to deliver on the vision of the game. Daily Responsibilities: - Work closely with quest and cinematic designers to understand their needs and ensure the tools meet the creative and technical goals. - Build and maintain story related plugins. - Ensure tools run efficiently without sacrificing performance, maintaining smooth workflows for the design team. - Write high-quality code that is optimised, bug-free, and aligned with project goals. - Foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure the tools contribute effectively to all game systems and components. ## Qualifications - At least 7 years of professional experience as a programmer within the game industry. - Strong proficiency in C++ programming and knowledge of Unreal Engine 5. - Ability to think creatively and strategically to overcome technical challenges and drive innovation in technology. - Ability to interpret the needs of less technical people and to communicate workflow with them. - Experience with Unreal’s cinematic sequencer.
