Project Hadar is still in its early stages, offering a unique opportunity to help define the vision and identity of an entirely new universe. We’re looking for a Senior Environment Artist to join our Environment Art team in Warsaw, where your creativity, experience, and artistic sensibility will directly shape breathtaking worlds that millions of players will explore.
Responsibilities
- Creating ideas and plans for locations/levels for our new game.
- Creating textures and original photorealistic textures through the use of various tools and middleware.
- Setting up materials and shaders to achieve the best possible quality.
- Creating immersive lighting and environmental effects.
- Cooperating effectively with Level Designers, Concept Artists and everyone involved in creating locations.
- Maintaining the production pipeline and meeting deadlines.
- Putting finishing touches on locations and cutscenes with the use of existing meshes and decals.
- Giving feedback to peers.
- Being a knowledge base for other artists.
## Qualifications
- At least 6 years of experience working in the video game industry and at least one shipped AAA title.
- Proficiency in using Adobe Photoshop as well as one of the leading modelling packages (3DS Max, Maya, Blender, etc.).
- Great sense of scale and proportions.
- Good knowledge of composition, colour theory and lighting.
- Basic knowledge of physically based rendering (PBR).
- Experience with procedural content creation packages (Substance, Houdini, World Machine).
- Basic knowledge about Level Design.
- Creativity and an excellent eye for detail.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Fluent English.
- Passion for games.

Working mode
In-office in a hybrid or full-time capacity in Warsaw, Poland. Relocation is required.
