Job Description
CD PROJEKT RED is looking for a Specialist/Senior Narrative Designer, Open World to join our Warsaw team. We are seeking passionate storytellers with boundless creativity to fill our game world with believable and exciting content consisting of open world quests and events that players will encounter.
Daily Responsibilities:
- Creating detailed content and feature designs.
- Designing and implementing Open World quests within environment of Unreal Engine 5.
- Cooperating with other departments to ensure the openness and interconnectivity of Open World.
- Integrating delivered assets (such as gameplay elements, locations, characters, dialogue etc.) into a seamless, engaging and unique experience.
- Maintaining the highest possible quality of Open World content and fixing reported bugs.
- Creating and maintaining documentation.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years (5 years for a senior level role) of experience in working as an Open World Designer, Narrative Designer, Mission Designer or in a similar position on AAA projects.
- Real passion for playing games (cRPGs or pen & paper role playing systems).
- Well developed communication skills.
- Boundless creativity and great narrative skills.
- Strong critical and analytical thinking.
- Fluent English.
- Knowledge of Unreal Engine 5 will be a plus.
As a part of this recruitment process, selected candidates may be asked to perform a test which involves creating a design document for an open world area based on provided guidelines.
