About the Role

As a CBRE Electrician supporting a pharmaceutical client in Indianapolis, IN, you will be responsible for inspecting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure safe and reliable operations.

This role is an entry-level role with training and development opportunities in electrical systems., focused on preventive maintenance and system support. The schedule is Monday–Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with occasional overtime and on-call responsibilities for issues or alarm response.

What You’ll Do

• Assist with AC circuit installations and troubleshooting.
• Work on static transfer switches (STS) to ensure reliable power transfer.
• Support maintenance and operation of power distribution units (PDU).
• Perform tasks related to uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to maintain continuous power.
• Provide support for backup generator systems and emergency power response.
• Oversee electrical and lighting systems' general operation, repair, and maintenance. Perform new installations of equipment.
• Check, repair, and replace functional components of electrical and lighting systems. This includes valves, motors, controls, switches, gauges, wiring, fans, pumps, compressors, condensers, cores, and pipes.
• Assure that equipment is being maintained and operated in a safe manner.
• Review historical maintenance records to create proactive inspection, testing, and preventive maintenance schedules.
