About the Role: We are seeking experienced and results-driven Construction Lead for a 7-month contract to oversee the safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of civil and general construction works for data center developments. Based in Johor (Gelang Patah or Kulai site), you will manage all aspects of site execution, from mobilization to handover, coordinating subcontractors and stakeholders to achieve project goals on time and within budget.
What You’ll Do:- Lead and manage all sites construction activities, including earthworks, foundations, concrete, architectural, and external works.

• Ensure projects adhere to commercial agreements, regulations, and industry standards.
• Proactively manage HSE performance, fostering a safety-first culture.
• Manage project budgets, schedules, and quality control.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including MEP contractors, to ensure integrated delivery.
• Contribute to business development through identifying opportunities and offering risk-managed solutions.
• Ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations, including DOSH, CIDB, UBBL, BOMBA, and DOE.

What You’ll Need:- Experience: Proven Construction Management experience (ideally 10+ years), with a preference for mission-critical or data center environments. Experience with hyperscale or large-scale data centers is a plus.

• Education: Recognized qualification in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• HSE: Recognized HSE qualification (e.g., NEBOSH / IOSH or equivalent) and demonstrated HSE leadership.
• Technical Skills: Strong understanding of construction project management, scheduling, budgeting, contract administration, and civil construction (earthworks, drainage, foundations, concrete, structural works). Knowledge of data center construction requirements, HSE management systems, risk management, and Malaysian construction compliance frameworks (DOSH, CIDB, UBBL, BOMBA, DOE).
• Skills: Experience managing contractors and multi-disciplinary teams, excellent stakeholder management, communication, and the ability to manage multiple sites and priorities.
