About the Role:
As a CBRE Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining small to medium-sized buildings, industrial systems, and equipment.
This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.
Key Responsibilities1. Facility Repair & Maintenance • Perform individual repair and maintenance work with tool kits for site facilities and associated equipment, including break/fix and preventive maintenance activities.
- Take corrective actions independently based on basic inspections; escalate and coordinate with external vendors when required.
- Execute or support scheduled inspections and checks in accordance with the established preventive maintenance schedule.
- Assist in scheduling and escorting vendors during PM activities, ensuring work complies with site requirements and that all records are properly completed. 2. Vendor Coordination • Support the management of repair and maintenance vendors (R&M vendors), including coordinating with security and facilities operation team to provide vendors’ with site access, on-site escorting, work supervision, and completion verification.
- Act as the on-site coordination point between the FM team and vendors to ensure clear communication, smooth execution of work and on-time completion of the work. 3. Facilities Operations Support • Support daily site facilities operations, including assistance with audits, inspections, and tracking and follow-up of operational findings and corrective actions. 4. Safety & Compliance • CBRE & Site EHS compliance must be strictly followed at all times, and comply with site operating procedures and security regulations.
- Consistently attend daily toolbox and routine team meetings to align cross-functional on-site activities and ensure safety compliance.
- Proactively implement and continuously drive a positive safety culture during self-performed work and vendor activities. 5. Team Collaboration, Reporting & Assigned Tasks • Support ad-hoc tasks, and team activities as assigned by supervisors, ensuring tasks are completed on schedule.
- Regularly report work progress, site conditions, and any abnormal issues to the FM team.
- Complete required work records, system updates, and basic English correspondence and documentation.
- Maintain effective communication and collaboration with the FM team, cross-functional departments, and client stakeholders. ________________________________________ Requirements & Qualifications Requirements • Ability to independently perform repair works and efficiently troubleshoot issues to ensure stable and safe operations.
- Basic capability to inspect, assess, and report on facility equipment • Ability to work collaboratively across multiple systems, vendors, and departments.
- 3–4 years of hands-on experience in facilities maintenance or facilities operations, covering a broad FM scope and not limited to a single technical specialty • Experience in data centers or large-scale facilities is a plus.
- Soft Skills • Strong task prioritization and time management skills, with the ability to adjust quickly to changing priorities.
- Proactive communication and reporting habits • Basic to intermediate computer skills to update systems, record work status, and complete daily reports.
- Team-oriented mindset with willingness to support shared responsibilities.
- Ability to adapt to a highly regulated, process-driven, and fast-changing work environment.
- Language & Documentation • Basic English reading and writing skills, capable of handling English documents and routine reporting.
- Proficient in using computer systems for work records and documentation.
