About the role

Responsible for supporting People Team, programs and policies. This role may have a special focus on addressing Time & Attendance queries with Payroll and providing guidance on labor relations matters.

What you’ll do

  • Responds to People inquiries and issues on policies and programs from employees and managers, including interpretation of policies.
  • Assists with transactions and questions related to onboarding new hires, status changes for existing employees and terminations of employees.
  • In conjunction with CBRE management, provides guidance on union/labor relations - including Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) inquiries. As needed, ensure inquiries are escalated.
  • Prepares a variety of reports, both standard and ad-hoc, and conducts basic data analysis.
  • Writes a variety of correspondence, such as letters, memos and agreements (including offer letters, promotion or change letters, draw agreements, etc.)
  • Collaborates with the People Service Centre and COEs to help resolve manager and employee inquiries.
  • Delivers training, including new hire orientation and system-specific training.
