About the Role: As a CBRE Data Center Sr.

Technician, you will perform preventative maintenance and complex corrective repairs within a Data Center operation.

This position is on site in Sacramento, CA.

This job is part of the Critical and Technical Services job function.

They are responsible for technical maintenance services in critical client environments.

What You’ll Do:

• Manage daily site inspections of all Mechanical & Engineering systems and technical equipment, including servicing and maintenance.

• Ensure the site's environmental conditions provide a safe work environment.

• React to Building Management System alarms, and complete emergency repairs as needed.

• Make sure third parties and vendors follow compliance with company-developed processes, procedures, and all applicable laws and regulations.

• Accompany vendor’s on-site visits as needed and ensure site standards are met.

• Verify subcontractor performance meets all requirements per the Master Service Agreement.

• Complete planned preventative maintenance and reactive maintenance on all equipment.

• Assist staff with tricky situations.

• Check BMS for running and alarm conditions and respond to complex HVAC-related client problems.

• Review meter readings from UPS, PDU and utilities to ensure accurate information is documented.

• Provide Mechanical and Electrical troubleshooting.

• Provide fixes to facility and plant faults and defects.

• Ensure that suitable spares are available to carry out maintenance at the site.

• Complete assigned work according to established processes and procedures.

• Follow all safety processes and requirements and confirm all regulatory requirements and quality standards are met.

• Operate a permit-to-work system under the company’s health and safety procedures.

• Verify that appropriate controls are within the Permit-to-Work systems.

• Ensure that ACOP’s applicable to the maintenance industry procedures.

• Conduct routine quality checks for comprehensive maintenance records.

• Help create and develop work processes, Job Hazard Analysis reports, and SOPs for critical work with risk assessment.

• Ensure that CERM documents and logbooks are updated.

• Complete all required training to ensure successful completion of all job-related responsibilities.

• Have some knowledge of standard principles with limited practical experience in applying them.

• Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values.
