About The Role: CBRE's Energy team is seeking current undergraduate or graduate students based in New York who are interested in pursuing a career in clean energy and renewables. The team advises global organizations on managing energy costs, generating revenue, reducing risk, and accessing renewable energy.
Participation in the summer internship program is intended to provide a well-rounded knowledge of the clean energy industry and valuable skills, earned by working alongside dedicated professionals in the largest and most successful global commercial real estate services firm.

  • Target Start Date: Early June
  • Target End Date: Mid-August

What You'll Gain: The internship accelerates your learning and development by providing you with a strong foundation upon which to build your career in clean energy. You'll gain exposure to our coordinated service lines. As a program participant, you will also partake in learning and development activities designed especially for you.
What You’ll Do:- Conduct company, property and industry-specific research to support business development initiatives.

  • Assist in developing and preparing marketing and presentation materials for renewable services.
  • Contribute to projects aimed at helping clients transition to renewable energy sources.
  • Data analyzation: Review community solar customer data and analyze potential opportunities for transactions and revenue generation.
  • Renewable Energy market analysis: Identify potential new markets for distributed generation, track program changes and market trends in existing markets.
  • Research supply chain and other renewable energy market trends to provide actionable insights.
