Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!
Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeem, Trusteer and more). Cato’s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named “SASE” by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028.
This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader – don’t miss it!
We’re looking for a Platform Integration Engineer to join our Operations Integration team. In this critical role, you will lead the integration of global service providers into our SASE backbone, influence network design decisions, and play a key role in scaling our carrier ecosystem. (edited)
Responsibilities:
-
Lead the technical integration of external Telco partners and their Points of Presence (Po Ps) into our global SASE network.
-
Act as the primary technical point of contact for partner engineers throughout onboarding and integration phases.
-
Own and drive integration execution by actively pushing tasks, decisions, and timelines across internal teams and external partners.
-
Coordinate with internal operations and engineering teams to ensure integrations are delivered reliably, on time, and at scale.
-
Design, implement, and troubleshoot Internet-facing network connectivity, including BGP peering and traffic exchange with global carriers.
-
Support pre-production testing, go-live readiness, and technical escalations related to partner Po Ps.
Requirements:
-
7+ years of hands-on experience in networking roles within Tier-1 / Tier-2 service providers or carrier environments.
-
Proven ability to design, build, and operate Internet BGP architectures for global or multi-region carrier networks.
-
Strong expertise in IP networking, BGP, routing policies, traffic engineering, and PoP connectivity.
-
Experience working directly with external customers or partners in a technical, customer-facing role.
-
Proven ability to lead technical discussions, challenge requirements, and set clear expectations with partners.
-
Proven experience operating and troubleshooting production networks with high availability and strict uptime requirements.
-
Excellent communication skills in English and strong ability to work across multiple teams.
-
CCNP, JNCIP, or equivalent networking certification — highly recommended.
-
Advantage: Experience with MPLS, Carrier Ethernet, or large-scale service-provider environments.
-
Advantage: Experience administering physical network or server infrastructure remotely.
