Welcome to the future of cloud networking and security!

Cato Networks is the first company to converge enterprise networking and security into one centralized and global service that is delivered by cloud. It is led by networking and security pioneer Shlomo Kramer (Check Point, Imperva) and early investor (Palo Alto Networks, Exabeem, Trusteer and more). Cato’s unique technology inspired a brand-new product category, later named “SASE” by Gartner and a market expected to reach $28.5 billion by 2028.

This is your opportunity to get on the rocket ship and join a company that is building a cutting-edge enterprise network and secure cloud platform, and is on a fast track to becoming the worldwide market leader – don’t miss it!

We are looking for an experienced Automation QA Engineer to join us.

You will be responsible for E2E testing new features of our fast-evolving product, by building a complex network environment and simulating enterprise customers' topologies and requirements. In addition, you will work with our Automation tests and lab management frameworks and will have the chance to make your first steps in the SW Automation development world. In your role - you will be the only gatekeeper for various new features and enhancements before they are deployed in our production cloud.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute manual/automated performance tests for core network infrastructure and edge devices.

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust test automation frameworks to enable continuous integration and validation.

  • Analyze and debug complex network failures, leveraging automation, logs, and advanced diagnostic tools.

  • Lead validation efforts for new projects and features, defining test coverage and automation strategy from early design stages.

  • Design and deploy complex physical and virtual network topologies to support automated end-to-end testing.

Requirements:

  • CCNA certification and a strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including

  • TCP/IP, UDP, VLANs, HTTP/HTTPS, DNS, and routing protocols.

  • Hands-on experience with Linux networking and troubleshooting.

  • 3+ years of experience developing test automation in Python using OOP principles.

  • Proven ability to debug complex, multi-component systems.

  • A team player with excellent collaboration skills

  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment

Advantage:

  • Hands-on experience working with physical network equipment in a lab environment.

  • Experience with virtual environments like ESX, AWS, Azure or GCP

  • BSc degree in Computer Science or a related field.

  • CCNP or JNCIP certification.

  • Familiarity with network test equipment or traffic generators.
