We are looking for a Senior Engineer to play a pivotal role in the Mine Star Edge platform—an enterprise-grade, cloud-hosted ecosystem built on Microsoft Azure. This role is suited to an experienced engineer who thrives across the full lifecycle of cloud systems, from design and development through to production support and continuous improvement.

Mine Star Edge leverages modern Azure services to deliver scalable, resilient, and highly available solutions. As a Senior Engineer, you will act as both a hands-on technical contributor and a technical owner, helping shape platform evolution while ensuring reliability, performance, and operational excellence. You will work closely with globally distributed engineering, support, and stakeholder teams to deliver outcomes that matter.

In addition to platform engineering and operations, this role may also involve designing and delivering software solutions that maintain the Mine Star Edge product, working closely with product and stakeholder teams to meet existing customer and business needs.

  • Key Responsibilities• Design, build, and evolve cloud native services within the Mine Star Edge ecosystem
  • Own and support production workloads, including monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement
  • Take accountability for components or services, influencing architecture and technical decisions
  • Collaborate with global engineering, support, and business stakeholders to deliver high quality solutions
  • Apply best engineering practices to ensure service reliability, scalability, security, and maintainability
  • Design and deliver software solutions for the Mine Star Edge product, when required, translating product and customer requirements into robust, scalable implementations.

  • Azure Service Fabric

  • C# Durable Functions

  • C# Web Applications

  • Azure IoT Hub

  • Azure Service Bus

  • Azure Database for PostgreSQL (Flexible Server)

  • Azure Cosmos DB

  • Angular

  • Java / Spring Boot services deployed to cloud environments

  • Proficiency in C# and modern cloud native development patterns

  • Experience supporting production systems and distributed architectures

  • Ability to collaborate effectively with global, cross functional teams

  • A proactive, ownership driven mindset with a balance of hands on delivery and technical leadership
