Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager Information Technology to join Application Services–-CAT ITDivision.

The IT Manager of the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) for Solar’s Information Technology Solutions department. IT Owner is responsible for key ERP , MES, Trade Automation (TA) and Compliance used for order to ship and record to report functions at Solar Turbine’s.

The preference for this role is to be based out of Bangalore – Caterpillar PSN

What you will do

  • Hire, Grow and manage best team
  • Analyze meet business needs and coach teams to deliver to specifications.
  • Monitor and maintain adherence and compliance to quality standards on an ongoing basis.

What you will have

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in ERP – Infor LN or equivalent as an architect, analyst, program manager, or leader.
  • Preferable system experience in MES – Plex, Indirect Purchasing – Coupa, etc.
  • Successfully executed large deployments as a leader or project / program manager.
  • Strong leadership background managing diverse technical teams.
  • Excellent communication, customer engagement, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Budget management experience.
  • Ability to drive projects from planning through to execution in a global or multi-site environment.
  • Thought leader that is willing to challenge current paradigm with people / process / technology options
  • This position requires candidate to work a 5-day -a -week schedule in the office
  • Shift Timing-01: 00PM-10:00PM IST

Analytical Thinking: **Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.**Talent Management: Knowledge of the critical competencies required to achieve intended results; ability to generate consistent approaches for hiring, selection, retaining and leveraging talent across the organization.
Leadership: Knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing, and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.

Vendor/Supplier Management: Knowledge of external provider management processes and ability to effectively manage the business relationship with external providers (e.g., vendors, service providers, contractors, consultants, and suppliers).

IT Service Management (ITSM): Knowledge of Information Technology (IT) service; ability to manage IT services and oversee service operations.
