What you will do:

• Governance of the Cost Leadership strategy at Caterpillar Brazil, in close partnership with leadership and Product Groups, ensuring consistency, cadence, and results.- Drive enterprise alignment of the cost strategy, providing directional leadership to cross functional teams, including Business, Purchasing, Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, and other relevant business areas.
• Coordinate, prioritize, and govern cost reduction initiatives and opportunity pipelines, ensuring alignment between operational execution and financial targets.
• Lead and structure cost leadership forums, including agenda definition, performance tracking, decision follow up, and action closure.
• Monitor and consolidate cost performance, savings realization, and opportunity tracking, ensuring transparency, data accuracy, and clear communication to leadership.
• Promote standardization, continuous improvement, and best practice sharing across product lines and manufacturing sites.

Skills:

Accuracy and Attention to Detail: Understanding the necessity and value of accuracy; ability to complete tasks with high levels of precision.

Analytical Thinking: Knowledge of techniques and tools that promote effective analysis; ability to determine the root cause of organizational problems and create alternative solutions that resolve these problems.

Effective Communications: Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

Financial Reporting: Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.

What You Have:

Bachelor’s degree (preferably Accounting, Administration or Economics).

Pre-advanced English.

Top candidates will also have:

Advanced/ Fluent English.

Project Management experience or certification

Note: This position requires the candidate to work onsite five days a week.
