Job Summary:
The Operations Automation Manager is responsible for supporting and managing multiple robotic and automated systems within the ACM Precision Components Central Manufacturing Team. This role involves leading automation projects from conception to deployment, ensuring technical efficiency, and maintaining high standards of operational performance.
Key Responsibilities:

Inventory and classification of existing automation solutions and development of a prioritized portfolio of projects to expand automation solutions across both new and existing assets.

Lead or support initiatives for implementing automated systems, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions.
-
Program, debug, and troubleshoot a variety of robotic and automated systems, ensuring seamless deployment and operation.
-
Serve as the primary point of contact for technical issues, partnering with support teams to address application and software challenges.
-
Train end users and operations support staff on automated system applications, ensuring effective knowledge transfer and system adoption.
-
Provide local support for operational applications, reinforcing the execution of organizational standards and best practices.
Educational Requirements:
-
Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, or a related field.

Skills:
Robotic Process Automation (RPA):
-
Understand the concepts, tools, and benefits of robotic process automation and its application across various industries.
-
Contribute to the development and deployment of RPA solutions, considering key issues and best practices for successful implementation.
Industrial Automation / Automatic Control:
-
Understand the principles and applications of industrial automation and automatic control in a manufacturing environment.
-
Identify and discuss key concepts, features, and considerations related to implementing automation solutions.
-
Know where to source expertise and up-to-date information on automation methods and technologies.
Data Gathering & Analysis:
-
Demonstrate understanding of various data collection methods and tools, documenting methodologies and identifying objectives for effective analysis.
-
Collect and synthesize data from multiple sources to support decision-making and process improvements.
Problem Solving:
-
Apply structured problem-solving approaches to recognize, anticipate, and resolve operational or process issues.
-
Follow established practices for problem reporting, escalation, and resolution within the organization.
Project Management:
-
Contribute to project planning and monitoring, providing input on timelines, resources, and cost estimates.
-
Assist in the development of detailed project plans and status reports, ensuring stakeholder engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
Technical Troubleshooting:
-
Anticipate, identify, and resolve technical issues related to hardware, software, or operations using systematic troubleshooting techniques.
-
Utilize available resources and support systems to address and solve complex problems as needed.

This position will be in Santa Catarina and Cienega de Flores, Nuevo Leon

This position is five-days a week in-office model

This position will require travelling 10% working time (International).
