Job Summary:

As an Electric Power (EP) Senior Digital Sales Consultant, you will be tasked with facilitating services growth by delivering value to customers, dealers, and business partners through the increase of valued connected assets, enabling Condition Monitoring, ensuring effective lead funnel management, and advancing e Commerce initiatives for the North America region. Serving as the primary contact for dealers and customers, you will oversee all EP Digital Services initiatives that promote Aftermarket Services growth, including leading the transition from CAT RAM to Vision Link within the North America territory.

What You Will Do:

  • Market and sell Caterpillar EP digital technologies by consulting with dealers and customers, demonstrating the value of telematics, and driving sales growth through Condition Monitoring–generated leads.

  • Develop and execute regional go‑to‑market strategies for digital services, including connectivity, PSEs, and e Commerce, while coaching dealers on consultative selling and effective sales lead management processes.

  • Provide training, best practices, and support for dealer development, ensuring alignment across PSSRs, sales teams, connectivity specialists, and internal marketing, digital, and technology groups.

  • Gather and deliver critical VOC/VOD insights from the field to inform enterprise strategy and guide improvements in products, services, and customer solutions.

  • Analyze regional competitive activity to identify strengths, weaknesses, and marketing tactics, and collaborate with internal partners to strengthen e Commerce participation and digital adoption.

  • Support field follow for new products and technologies.

  • Travel up to 50% within North America.

What You Will Have:

  • Customer Focus: Extensive experience and knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.

  • Decision Making and Critical Thinking: Extensive experience and knowledge of the decision-making process and associated tools and techniques; ability to accurately analyze situations and reach productive decisions based on informed judgment.

  • Effective Communications: Extensive experience and understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviors.

  • Relationship Management: Extensive experience and knowledge of relationship management techniques; ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with clients, vendors, and peers.

  • Value Selling: Working knowledge of the principles and practices for selling products, technology and services; ability to provide overall product/service 'value' and to differentiate support offerings that address clearly understood customer needs.

Additional Details:

  • This position can be located in either Dallas, TX or Peoria, IL and domestic relocation is available.

  • Travel is typically around 30%, but may be up to 50% depending on business needs.

  • This role follows a 5-day a week in-office schedule.

Summary Pay Range:

$128,470.00 - $192,710.00

Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
