The Service Options team within the Product Support & Logistics Division (PSLD) creates and delivers the service options that include parts, labor, timing, consumption, and structure for dealer service of Caterpillar products. Service Options is the core information that Dealers use to quote and repair equipment.

Job Summary:

The Parts Information Specialist is responsible for creating, updating, and validating service options information that supports the maintenance, repair, and rebuild of Caterpillar products.

What You Will Do:

• Develop and update service options with parts, labor timing, consumption, and structure in Service Options Collaborator (SOC) for Planned Maintenance, Repair and Rebuild of Caterpillar products.

• Ensure the accuracy and completeness of all service information while actively participating in ongoing process improvement initiatives.

• Validate service option content in alignment with Build Rules, Data Input Forms, and SIS parts and service manuals.

What You Have:

Technical Excellence:

Experience with Cat Service Option Collaborator (SOC) in creating Planned Maintenance, Repair and Rebuild jobs. Knowledge of Caterpillar Component Codes and Job Codes.

Demonstrated knowledge of Caterpillar product structure, engineering databases ( PRWB, TMI, SIS).

Effective Communication:

Understanding of effective communication concepts, tools and techniques; ability to effectively transmit, receive, and accurately interpret ideas, information, and needs through the application of appropriate communication behaviours.

Collaboration & Engagement:

Ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships with peers and other relevant stakeholders.

Customer Focus**:**

Knowledge of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and ability to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
